This paper proposed an innovative method for stabilising marginally stable slope consisting of laterite soil, The method involves, inserting ((lime-soil cylinders" directly into the existing slopes, thus requiring little or no excavation, resulting in a rapid and cost effective solution for slope stabilisation. "Lime-soil cylinders" is the term used for lime columns that are installed horizontally to stabilise slopes of laterite soils.
