Isi artikelThe Determination of Entomological Indicator of Dengue Haemorhagic Disease has been investigated in Kodya Padang at June to September 2002. The aim of the study is to define the entomological indicator will occur transmitting DHF in view from aspect of entomology and epidemiology. The study is made surveilance at three kelurahan in Kodya Padang such as Kelurahan Jati, Kecamatan Padang Timur, Kelurahan Bandar Buat, Kecamatan lubuk Kilangan and Kelurahan Gadut, Kecamatan Pauh. The Collection of mosquitoes eggs was with ovitrap, collection of larval and pupal was done at water recevtacles and mosquitoes was caught that active to seek the blood at 8.10 p.m. and 15-17 p.m. for 15 minutes. The sample was collected at 40 houses each kelurahan. Entomological indicator observed are Ovitrap Index, House Index, Container Index, Breteau index. and Purity Rate, the mosquitoes adult density and their ages. Analysis data is by the student's test. Their result that egg density outdoor is more than indoor and differ for three location. Container Index outdoor is less that indoor and differ for three location. House index for three location at endemic area is less than non endemic area. Breteau index as same as House Index. The mosquitoes age is less than 8 days and only at level indicatation. Entomological included egg density, ovitrap index, house index, Breteau index, parity rate and mosquito ages should be considered in DHF control program.
