Drug abuse is very complex problem, The objective of this study is to identify which psychosocial factors play a very important role in drug abuse among high school students in Semarang, it is concluded that smoking is a port d'entre to drug abuse, and alsi is alcohol. Regression analyse show that among the psychosocial variables, only the social norm significantly correlates with drug consumption. it is very clear that their peer groups very easy influence students. It is concluded that the most effective way to influence the yout is via peer groups.
