The aim of this study is to answer the question of how the improvement of the textual stucture of an argumentative writing of elementary school students is. The students are from STKIP Lab School, Singaraja. The result is measured operationally by the different textual structure of argumentative writing for the fourth and sixth grade students. The framework used to analyze the data is Toulmin theory, while the design used is cross-sectional by implementing descriptive-quantitative approach. The conclusion is that there is an improvement of textual stucture of argumentative writing, although it is not very significant.
