Advertisements do not just convey information about products but more importatntly encourage and persuade people to like, select, and buy the products. The paper is to investigate how advertisers achieve their goal. From the data analized, it was found that the media impact was tremendous in several ways: some people want to elevate their existence while others feel their need to conform to their sorrounding; still other believe that they need to find a 'prescription' for a life never before imagined.
