In Quantum mechanics, problem in equilibrium distance its constituent atoms can be solved by using Boson-Newton method. The method is applicable in producing an equation related to the excitation levels (n) of the oscillator energy spectrum. In this study, the method has been applied to vibration-rotational contributions of diatomic molecular spectrum by investigating the spectral character of the radiation emitted or absorbed by such molecule. This is allowing some important parameters of the molecule to be determined, not only equilibrium distance between its constituent atoms but also harmonic vibration frequency and molecular moment of inertia. |
