This issue marks the beggining of the 32nd year of the journal of cross - cultural psychology - the leading psychology journal that throughout its history has completely focused on the role played by culture in human thought and behaviour. On this occasion, I want to say a few words about significant transitions associated with this publication. Most of my comments will constitute thanks and acknowledgments to a number of people whose efforts have been extremely important for its continued success.
