The improvement that has been done including two things, i. e. improvement in the helper instrument (on the new helper instrument and on the old helper instrument) and improvement in the work posture. The improvement on the helper instrument is hoped will influence on the improvement of work posture. The design on new instrument is hoped will influence of analytical questioner and itnerview, then the new concept of design is made fitting with worker needs. In the stacking process of "batu bata" the improvement is done by designing of new helper instruments, such as : working table and working posture. Using new work method has show a good result on the reducing of the OWAS category, from category 3 and 4 became category 1 and 2. The detail improvement can be clarify with the fact that posture 4161 category 4 became 2161 / 1161 category 2 / 1 , posture 4141 category 4 beame 3121 category 1, and posture 2141 category 3 became 1161 category 1. In building material handling process, the improvement is done by improving old helper instrument (material handling box and work posture). The improvement of posture is done by changing posture 4141 category 4 became 1161 category 1, posture 2143 and 2142 category 3 became 1143 and 1142 category 2, and posture 2123 category 3 became 1143 category 2. In the process of mixing cement andn other material, improvement in only done on the work posture that resulting a change in the work posture from 4141 category 4 became 2141 category 3.
