Isi artikel
Exceptionally Case-marked NPs in Turkish are shown to occupy a position in the matrix clause and not in the embedded clause with which they are thematically associated. This conclusion is strongly supported by data from adverbial modification, Licensing of negative polarity items, and word order variation in Turkish. These facts also provide arguments for the supposition that negative polarity items are licensed at S-Structure.
