The study employed descriptive qualitative. In order to obtain types of deixis used, the researcher studied the documents. There were five articles analysed and chosen based on the most viewed. The researcher analyzed the data based on types of deixis proposed by Levinson (1983). The study revealed that there were five types of deixis found, namely person deixis (first person, second person and third person), time deixis, place deixis, discourse deixis and social deixis. Person deixis placed the highest occurrence among other types of deixis. The occurrence of types of deixis in each article was not the same in term of frequency because it depended on the length of the article and also the content of the article. The longer the article, the more it is used. The content of the article also gives impact of the use of the deixis. The more direct speech used in the article, the more deixis found in the article. This study limits on the object being investigated. It was just five articles analyzed. It should be more articles studied in order to gain rich data.
