Isi artikelThe research is entitled “Comprehension Process of Dyslexia: A Psycholinguistic Study. The goal of the research is to identify the learning difficulties faced by the dyslexia in comprehension process, such as comprehending words visually, listening and rewriting the words, then answering the question(s). The comprehension process done by the dyslexia is viewed based on the ability to recognize the words or materials, copy and rewrite those words or materials and if it possible, the questions connected to those words will be asked then. Afterwards, it will be asked whether the dyslexia understands the words or course, General English. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method to explain the learning difficulties experienced by the dyslexia and the process to understand the words or materials in General English. First, the instructor gives the words and the materials in General English subject, and then it has to be copied and rewritten. Afterwards, it will be checked whether those words and materials are written exactly and are understandable or not. The subjects of the research are three dyslexia students who experience learning difficulties in learning process. They are 18-21 years old. The results of the research show that the learning difficulties experienced by them are the difficulties to recognize the words or materials, to differentiate the resemble words and sounds, the difficulties to memorize the words or materials, and to concentrate in the class. However, they will be given the direction and instruction to handle those problems to the dyslexia students in order to understand the words and material in General English in the class.
