Isi artikelThe present study employs a theoretical approach of systemic functional grammar to probe the equivalence on the transitivity; namely, process types and participant dimensions on the collocational extension and enhancement. The selected node to be analyzed is verb take. By using concordancer AntConc 3.4.4. w., clauses containing verb take are extracted. The data are taken from a novel entitled Pride and Prejudice and its three Indonesian translation novels. In identifying the data, the researcher observes the equivalence of transitivity configuration on the translation of collocational extension and enhancement from English into Indonesian through content analysis. The translation equivalences of node take functioning as process type vary on encoding the same referential meaning from source text into target text, moving from collocation into non collocation, turning from clausal extension into verbal extension, and altering from clausal extension into verbal enhancement.
