Isi artikelThis patient was a 63-year-old Asian woman with a medical history of type II diabetes mellitus, bronchiectasis, and arthritis. She had a past medical history of tuberculosis, 25 years ago, for which she required a nephrectomy. She was a nonsmoker. Her medication included aspirin, lansoprazole, metformin, insulin, and simvastatin. She presented to Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield (UK) in 2012 with a diffuse swelling located over the right cheek. This was associated with persistent bilateral pain localized over both parotid salivary glands.
