Isi artikelTeam diversity becomes a fact of organizational life and a recognizable trend in organizations. Jehn, Northcraft, and Neale (1999) noted that diverse teams have to deal with their own internal conflicts, because conflict can be detrimental or beneficial to individual and team performance. Drawing from the input, process and output model of team diversity (Ilgen, Hollenbeck, Johnson, & Jundt, 2005), the article offers a research agenda to examine the relationship between perceived diversity, task conflict, and team performance. It also proposes the role of transformational leadership as a moderator variable. After the explanation of theoretical underpinnings and the hypotheses development, the proposed methodology will be presented. It includes the procedures and the proposed measurements that can be used for the research.
