The study found out and empirically analyzed the important factors, which give effects to company management in order to fixate TPM for small and medium size company. In 2006, when considering the number of companies, 99% of Korean companies belong to small and medium size company and when considering the number of employees, 77% belong to it. Therefore, the small and medium size companies have the competitiveness of Korean products. However, the operation of small and medium size company is difficult because of various reasons. Although a lot of management improvement activities have been introduced to overcome the difficult situation, the current situation is that small and medium size company can't even introduce new technique. The study tried to develop TPM Model(C-TPM) proper for small and medium size company and apply it to the company easily. For the model suggested in the study, its significance was verified through the empirical verification of small and medium size company.
