Quality assurance and the standardization of healthcare have emerged as important issues. The patient condition adaptive path system (PCAPS) was proposed and developed for the specification of standardized healthcare treatment. PCAPS describes the overall flow of the possible clinical paths that a patient’s disease state may trace and the detailed diagnosis and treatment for each state. The application of PCAPS facilitates the execution of appropriate healthcare interventions based on the disease state. Furthermore, the knowledge in PCAPS requires regular improvement. The objective of this study is to develop a method for improving the contents of structured clinical knowledge in PCAPS
