Isi artikel
Hospitals have been striving to address the issue of medical errors in order to provide safe healthcare. Medical errors threaten the safety of patients and, therefore, should be promptly addressed. These errors can be divided into two types: errors that occur despite the workers' adherence to hospital standards and those that occur because the workers act contrary to hospital standards. Studies on improving education and work methods have been conducted in the case of the latter. We discuss a mechanism that generates nonobservance errors. Furthermore, we propose a method to analyze nonobservance and prevent it by improving work methods and education.
