Isi artikelDr L H Hiranandani Hospital from the day of commission had good processes in place which helped it to follow good healthcare practices. Accreditation was the logical extension. The path to accreditation was strategically planned. This study outlines the benefits of the accreditation in benchmarking with International Healthcare Standards achieving high quality healthcare delivery. The study also compares patient satisfaction & various healthcare quality indicators and levels prior to accreditation and after. There is a strong correlation of the fact that embarking upon the journey of compliance to accreditation standards improves the quality of care imparted. The fallout is high patient satisfaction and business sustainability.
