Isi artikelThis research aims to analyze the effect of the job characteristic model on intention to stay of the supervisor at PT Funworld Prima with work motivation as a mediating variable. Path analysis developed by Preacher and Hayes -The Simple Mediation Model- was used as a method to test the effect of the job characteristic model on intention to stay of the supervisor at PT Fun World Prima with the work motivation as a mediating variable. The research was conducted using a survey by distributing questionnaires to 69 supervisors located throughout Indonesia. Simple random sampling method was used as a technique for selecting the samples. The results showed that the job characteristic models affects directly on the intention to stay of the Supervisor at PT Funworld Prima as well as indirectly (first, from job characteristic model to work motivation, as a mediating variable, then afterward to intention to stay). The Path analysis model also showed that work motivation, as a mediating variable, had a stronger effect on intention to stay instead of the direct effect of the job characteristic model to the intention to stay.
