Tourism is not only simply a business, but a kind of economic generator. However, it may also pose some potential negative and even detrimental impacts. In order to maximize its benefit while minimizing its negative impacts, law play pivotal role. In the context of Indonesia, the law governing tourism is still have some deficiencies due to-:lacks of proper definition; and less constructive concept, structure and content; it even ignores the GATS and cause emptiness of rules and creating dualism of rules. It is therefore important to search for the right law and regulation model on Indonesian Tourism Law.
