It is generally recognized that performance of International Trade will affect industrial growth and encourage more investment. Investment in the real sector will further promote economic growth, create job opportunity and eventually reduce the rate of unemployment. In the efforts to boost the performance of International Trade, it should be supported by a series of trade policy and by utilizing proper legal and regulatory approaches as its instruments. This article will focus on exploring ways and means to promote the performance of International Trade through harmonizing International Law and national law, particularly related to trade, both in the forms of hard laws and soft laws.
