Information technology (IT) is a media and tools used to obtain knowledge and information exchanged among people. Based on the function and benefit of IT, officials of Mandalawangi sub-district can utilize this tool to support them to get the knowledge and make them easier to reach the goal of the organization. Furthermore, the officials can facilitate people who live in Mandalawangi sub-district to improve their lives and use the IT carefully and wisely. Knowledge of information technology can be obtained through more training that includes how to assemble the hardware, training Open Office application usage, how to use the internet, and the development of human resources information systems. The participants in the training include lecturers, computer lab instructors, and students. The results show that the participants have good knowledge of information technology, are able to operate computer systems and office software, use the Internet properly, and have knowledge of computer network.
