Isi artikelThe objective of this research is to identify the Learning styles of undergraduate management students at Klang Valley, Malaysia and to identify the relation of selected demographic factors with the learning styles. Index Learning style (ILS) developed by Felder-Sivermann has been adopted and used as a survey instrument in this study. Results of the study were used to see the significant relationship between learning styles and demographic factors such as gender, ethnicity and academic qualification. Seven hundred and there samples were collected. Based on the mean score, the study showed that the most dominant learning styles in sequence are visual, sequential, reflective, sensing, global, active, Intuitive and verbal. The male students are found to be more dominant in active, intuitive and global learning compare to female students. In ethnicity, the mean score for active, intuitive and global are more significant for at least one pair in each ethic group. There is a significant mean score differences for STPM, diploma and matriculation students in active and sensing learning styles. The learning styles score are significantly different between gender, ethnicity, and academic qualification. This paper discusses about the undergraduate management students' learning styles and its relation with three demographic factors. Besides that, the next part of this research will look into other demographic factors and to propose learning environment for effective learning.
