In this study, the writer analyzes the politeness used in the conversation between the seller and buyer. The types of politeness was found in the bargaining between seller and buyer. In doing the conversation at Pajak Buah, Berastagi, seller and buyer do not need to have a long conversation because it is not important to do. Most of tourist who comes to Pajak Buah, Berastagi does conversation with politeness when they talk and buy something. The writer studied politeness between seller and buyers in their conversation, in interacting sellers and buyers they were doing bargaining and haggling for price they want to pay. They used positive politeness and negative politeness bargaining. In doing the conversation seller and buyer do not need to have a long conversation because it is not important to do.
