Isi artikelAdvancements in medicine science are giving people longer lives, and creating an aging society which is becoming a very big issue. People are starting to realize how essential it is to prepare for retirement. Even though there are many organizations offering retirement programs, they are practically not very useful for the older adults to find a second job suitable for their needs. In this sense, The research team believes that there is nothing so practice as a good theory, and selectively focuses on the Schein's career anchor theory as a dynamic good career one. According to Schein' career anchor theory, individuals develop internal career after their abilities, needs, and values become crystallized through a variety of real-world work experiences. Moreover, once formed, these stable career identities have significant consequences for individuals' career satisfaction and job stability. Thus, retired persons might have their own unique strong internal career which guarantee their successful career life. Thus the research team will develop a program that will help find work suitable for their internal career including ability, value, and motive. As program design process, the researcher will utilize a self-test method, guiding what line of work is best suited for an individual. A professional will review the results during an interview and discuss the options that match an individual's interests. This program differs from other existing ones that involve self-testing. The professional interview is important for ensuring the best possible results. Giving individuals options that were tailor-made specifically for them leaves them with a great sense of satisfaction that they have never experienced before. After self-test of career anchor, retiring employees can figure out which career between eight category is match with them. And after counsel about the gap of the result of the test and what they really want to do, this program helps them to start an proper enterprise.
