Isi artikelThe purpose of this study was to examine the relative influence of the ego-resilience and organizational commitment of early childhood teachers on their happiness, as their happiness is linked to their own role performance, namely job performance and thereby affects the quality of education. The subjects in this study were 292 early childhood teachers in early childhood education institutions, on whom a survey was conducted to gather data. A statistical package PASW 18.0 was utilized to make a stepwise multiple regression analysis to determine the relative influence of the selected variables. The ego-resilience and organizational commitment of the early childhood teachers could be said to be major variables to determine their happiness, and it could be said that they found themselves to be happier when their ego-resilience and organizational commitment were better. The findings suggest that the ego-resilience and organizational commitment of early childhood teachers should seriously be taken into account to improve their happiness.
