This study is conducted in community colleges in Malaysia. Respondents are specifically chosen from teachers who are from land settlement in rural areas. These land settlement are known as FELDA settlement for people to cultivate in agriculture. Total number of respondents is 120. A questionnaire is administered to those 120 teachers to find out whether they are well equipped or well trained to be a full fledge teachers. This questionnaire comprised of four sub-domain of teaching and learning. There are T&L preparations, T&L executions, content mastery, students’ participation. All items use Likert Scale of 1 to 5. Data is analyzed using SPSS. Descriptive statistics with mean and standard deviation is used. Findings show that these respondents are not yet skillful in teaching profession and aware that they need training. Working experience do have an impact on teaching practices especially in preparation of T&L lesson plan, execution of T&L in class, and mastery in teaching content.
