Isi artikel
The article revisits Foucault’s concept of “governmentality”, which has recently seen tremendous success in the social sciences. This concept sheds light on the formation of the subject of global neoliberal capitalism, on the genealogy of the dominant homo economicus. However, his perspective does not take into account the social space of different objective positions where are projected the governmentalized subjects. It would be required to introduce the field theory of Bourdieu to complete the analysis of the advanced capitalist societies that Foucault extraordinary foresaw.
