Isi artikelThe purpose of this present study was to find out whether educational achievement differs as the level of achievement motivation and intelligence differ. For the present study, therefore, the sample comprised 50 students of ninth standard were selected from N. M. Vidyalaya, Pune, Maharashtra State, India. In order to measure the achievement motivation, intelligence and academic achievement Achievement Motivation Test standardized by Prayag Mehata (1978), Buddhimapan Kasoti (1977) standardized by Prajna Manas Sanshodhika, Jnanprobodhini, Pune, and the total academic score of the students was used in the present study. To test the hypotheses 2x2 factorial design between achievement motivation and intelligence was employed. Two way ANOVA was used. It was found that academic achievement did not differ according to the level of achievement motivation and the level of intelligence.
