This descriptive qualitative research was conducted in the College of Business Administration of Bulacan State University, Malolos City, Bulacan for the academic year 2012-2013. It is aimed to identify the sources of waste inside the classroom and integrate consciousness and techniques on waste reduction in the process of classroom instruction. The researcher conducted a mapping of sources of waste inside the classroom and identifies the kind of waste that needs to be reduced if not eliminated. A further analysis of the sources and the kind of waste was conducted to determine the process of reduction and elimination to some extent. The procedures were then collated and proposed to integrate in the classroom instruction. The result of analysis revealed that sources of waste were students’ and teachers’ induced and may be controlled under circumstances and other conditions where both the students and teachers are without control. Such controllable circumstantial production of waste includes allowing students to bring food inside the classroom during class hours, erasing the chalked-written lectures while being blown by the ventilating fan, use of papersticking materials during reporting, use of visual aids, allowing extra sheet of paper to be used as scratch and distributing excessive photocopy of lectures. The uncontrollable conditions include use of blackboards, open-air classrooms, unavailability of cleaning materials, trashcans, and erasers, proximity to university central garbage dumpsite, class schedules, and unavailability of waste-free instructional materials. The procedures on how to reduce, if not eliminate the waste were determined by circumventing the circumstantial production of waste.
