Isi artikelInternship is an important part of the learning experience for undergraduates in most of the fields as it provides the first opportunity for students to apply previously learned conceptual knowledge in their future profession. In the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, industrial training is not made compulsory to all engineering students. This study was aimed to enhance the quality of the current internship program and indirectly encourage more participants in the program. Two questionnaires were developed for this study. The first questionnaire investigated the expectations of the second year electrical engineering students before they undergo internships. The other questionnaire which explored the students’ experiences focused on third year electrical engineering students who had just completed their internships.
