Isi artikel
This study set out to improve young EFL students’ attitudes towards English writing by implementing genre-based portfolios. Over the course of one semester, 26 elementary school EFL learners produced portfolios that consisted of five different genres. Questionnaires were used to determine students’ attitudes towards genre-based writing, portfolio assessment, and their own English writing. The results showed that the students’ attitudes were positive and that this type of class is appropriate for young EFL children.
