Micki Kacmar asked me to provide this issue's "from the editor" column to share any insights. I may have developed working as senior associated editor for the journal of management (JoM). As of 1 july, the new editorial team led by daniel feldman took over the processing of new submissions. Having passed the baton to an excellent group of successors, this seems like a suitable occassion to reflect on lessons learned.
