My thoughts were on family, on friends and on my career - on the choice I made some 30 years ago to enter this great profession. Perhaps, as you reflected, you questioned the significance of our vocation - of how what we do as CPA s fits into the whole scheme of things. I did. But my thoughts turned quickly to our profession’s historic role in making the United States a global economic power. For more than 100 years, CPA s have made it possible for people to believe in and rely on our country’s commerce and industry.
