The Agenda of a legislative election in the city of Makassar is held once every five years. During the election all the legislative’s candidates register themselves to be the prominent representative from the political party as it becomes the start of their political carrier. The candidate of the legislative is representative of the society, to bring the people’s aspiration in parliament and to do a conslidation with the society that chooses them. There are many various forms of linguistics strategies used to introduce ideas, thoughts, vision and mission to convince people they are illegible to be chosen. They use language as the effective communication tool. People who have the right to choose will select the pictures of a legislative candidate which already in their mind when the democracy campaign was held. This research describes many linguistics signs which are being used persuasively by the legislative candidate in Makassar city to influence the election takers. The data collection for this research used primary data, while the reference is done to get the secondary data. Linguistics data is taken from visual media such as poster, ballyhoo, spanduk, sticker those can be found in some main roads in Makassar city, they are; Ratulangi, Veteran, and Andi Pangeran Pettarani Street already determine purposively. Besides that linguistic data can be taken from audiovisual media like radio, television, SMS (short massage service) through handphone, BBM (blackberry messanger), social media (face book, twitter, path and etc). The result of this research shows that linguistics persuasive strategic that used by the candidate of legislative used implicative by used the linguistics sign. Generally the candidates of legislative in Makassar city used first pronominal persona sign and first pronominal persona plural inclusive to tight feeling closer and on the behalf of the political party that take them to influence and to change public opinion. Dominant vocabulary used combines between Indonesia language and local language in Makassar. The aim of using national language and local languages is to make easier in approaching the future candidate who can be participated in the election as they live in Makassar city. Since people in Makassar use both local language and national language often, then the use of both national language and Makassar language vocabulary from both languages will be involved and as result people can have a whole comprehension of the candidate legislative’s means.
