Isi artikel
This study aims to evaluation of customer classification system for multiple pedestrians. Many retail businesses using some methods (for example, member’s card, direct mail, questionnaire, manual classification by the staffs etc.) for correct customer’s information. However, these methods have some problems. One of problem is instability for collecting data of customer’s information. The member’s card can not cover all customers. Moreover, manual classification includes dispersion fromindividuals. In the past, wehave researched age groups estimation method for this problem. This method is age groups estimation by zero moment point, foot length, area of footprints and pressure value. However, it has a problem that can not estimation for multiple pedestrians. The system in this study can classify customer’s information from multiple pedestrians. This system uses sheet-like pressure sensors. The pressure sensors get customer’s pressure value data. These pressure value data classification of customer information. One of advantage using pressure sensors is that can not get personally identifiable information. Consequently, this system does not invade privacy.
