Isi artikel
This research took place in a pineapple plantation sector. The plantation field is divided into sections. A section covers a certain area of planting and having a certain status in a pineapple planting cycle. The end of pineapple planting cycle is harvesting. Harvesting is conducted daily based on pineapple weight production target. In most cases, to meet the production target, two or more sections have to be harvested. Thus, movement of harvesting equipment between sections increases harvesting time and transportation cost. This paper proposes a rezoning model for integrating harvesting activities and transportation system. The objective function is to minimize rezoning cost, while considering the status of each section in the pineapple planting cycle. Due to the large number of sections to be solved, an enumeration method is proposed. Result of the proposed model improves the efficiency of the harvesting and transportation system.
