Isi artikelRecent development of motion sensing input devices makes it possible to communicate with computer through gesture. In this paper, we present InvisiBLE, our first prototype, as an optimized haptic display for 3-D hand gesture interaction, especially click gesture. InvisiBLE allows users to interact with physically reacting digital media. The system utilizes depth information generated by user hand movement, which operates electromagnetic actuator to deliver simultaneous active haptic force-feedback to users. The glove-type electromagnetic device controls force to render familiar objects, such as stiff wall, elastic spring, and keyboard button, letting users perceive as if those objects are floating in the air.
