Isi artikelTo bring whole activity of a large factory to small end user place is now possible as it deliverying some amount of finishing goods. This shortcut flow makes an advantage as an agile Supply Chain. Portable factory with knockdown raw material is presented to make it works. Portable factory is a set of automatic machine include a multi function fabrication line and an assembly line linked with spare part magasin as a raw material compartment, both are created in a very compact design. The transformation processes (fabrication and assembly in manufacturing) works based on mechatronics and modern control engineering. Other wise the concept of knock down and transformable part as a raw material be assemblying into variance shape of finishing goods product being arranged using optimization method based on set of geometric constraint function rule. These concept are as Implementation of Design For Manufacture (DFM) and Design For Automatic Assembly (DFAA). Lighting Fixtures been choosen as a product example. Objective of a product design is to minimizing amount of part member variance. Set of constraint are applied to guarantee following criteria: (1) Determining a specific combination of part member in order to able to transform into some hundred kinds of lighting fixtures variance models, (2) Thousands parts as raw material are neatly arranged in a very small space of magasin as it’s compartment. Set of parameter are: (1) following rule of lighting photometric, (2) obey with accoustic dimension hole standard, (3) accommodate several kind of lighting electric pheriperal dimensions. The result are coordinate points of joints and multi valence systems among the combination of a part member. This result is useful information for robotic actuator to execute some decision to fabricate and assemble a desired product. This simple and short way of portable factory makes an agile Supply Chain works.
