Isi artikelThis research is aimed to evaluate logistics process of end-of-life vehicle (EoL vehicle). Observation toward business activity and literature study is done to understand the real condition of reverse logistics process for EoL vehicle in Indonesia. This research has not been widely discuss, yet important, to increase the efficiency of automotive industryand also the eco-efficiency of the business itself. To get the real picture about reverse logistics process of EoL vehicle, observation was held in Malang city by considering three aspects, include RL motivation, material flow and regulation that support RL.Analysis and evaluation applying SWOT analysis is then used to decide proper strategy and infrastructure for RL activities. The analysis shows that development and implementation of the right regulation is necessary for this current time. Regulation development can be derivated from Regulation No. 23 Year 1997 about Waste Management. Several drafts of autonomy regulation and policy regarding to automotive waste management should be authorized as soon as possible. As it is will impact for the next progress development system, such as network logistics design, facility and capacity planning and other system support for RL.
