Isi artikelResearch on interaction has focused on the importance of interactional feedback for second language acquisition. Nevertheless, there is scarce research regarding interactional feedback and the effect different kinds of dyad may produce in it in Synchronous Voice-based Computer Mediated Communication. Our study tries to fill this gap by studying whether different dyad composition (14 NNSeNNS sharing the same L1, 14 NNSeNNS with different L1, and 14 NNSeNS) affected the number and type of LREs, the kind of LREs signals and the amount of modified output produced in a two-way exchange information task carried out through Synchronous Voice-based Computer Mediated Communication. Our findings showed the existence of a high incidence of LREs focusing both on meaning and on form, and that the kind of partner significantly affected i) quantity and type of LREs, ii) instances of negotiation and negative feedback, and iii) amount and type of modified output.
