This article is basically an overview of the impact of industrial growth on health, focusing on the relation between industrial pollution and health problems. Furthermore, the paper shows that the effects of industrial pollution on health is increasing significantly in the industrialized countries. Considering that with Pelita IV Indonesia plans to enter the era of industrialization, it is imperative to research the impact of industrial growth on public health. This paper concludes that the industrial development program in Indonesia should be accompanied by control and evaluation of potential industrial pollution.
