Isi artikel
7he question-answer technique has long been a basic, essential part of the second language class. Spoken communication, however, does not exist solely of questions and answers. This article describes a question-answer technique based on authenticity of form and content which has applicability at virtually all levels of instruction. In a carefully sequenced, step-by-step process, students are led from the initial automatic response stage to the point where they are capable of providing definitions, rephrasing content, or expressing opinions in the second language. This technique also provides for total class involvement in a relaxed atmosphere.
