Isi artikelThe article points toward utilization of community resources which are readily available along the southwest border regions. It proposes that Spanish programs at universities along the U.S. border with Mexico develop systems by which Mexican cities may be turned into living language labs for such American institutions. Several possibilities are mentioned for implementing these programs both for teaching Spanish as a foreign language and for teaching Spanish to native speakers.
