The study is aimed at reducing translation errors made by the students by implementing Cooperative-Contrastive learning model in teaching translation. Previous test of students’ translation indicates that errors are spread in different types that are grouped in structure and grammatical meaning, syntax, and word choice from the source text to the target text. The subjects of the study are sixth semester students of English Department who take the Translation subject. Data is collected by using the tests and questionnaires from the treatment and control classes. Observation method is also applied to see the students’ difficulties and the response to the implemented learning methods.
