Isi artikelThe significant variation level of four skills in vocational students’ ability is the primary problem of this research. One of the efforts to solve this problem is to improve the teachers’ approach. The approaches in teaching English that researchers used in this research are Communicative and Quantum Learning. This research is investigated the effectiveness of learning approach in English subject towards four skills; speaking, writing, listening and reading. The class consisted of two group which given two different approach. First class used Quantum learning approach and the second used Communicative approach. The subject of this research is the eleventh grade students at Buddhi Vocational School. This research used quantitative method. The quantitative method used to measure the students’ skills before and after treatment by using SPSS to calculate the pre-test and post-test score, and then researchers used the students’ score of Quantum Learning approach and Communicative approach to compare which approach that suitable for improving the students’ four skills in English.
