this article aimed to review how political support and technocratic ability played significant role in bureaucratic reformation process in various regions, especially related to the establishment of One Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) Institution as a good institutional model in licensing reformation in a region. Based on field study on 7 (seven) Regencies/Cities plus the author's practical experience in assisting in several regions, this article will describe the typology of general issues of problems related to the establishment and performance of PTSP. The result of this study was expected to be an input for the central government for institutional policy structuring frameworks relevant to the requirements of regional governments to realize effective PTSP and serve the public.
