Isi artikelChulalongkorn University consists of many operational units which have different missions, roles and functions including 19 faculties, 3 colleges, 9 research institutes, and more than 60 centres and administrative offices. Therefore, it is necessary for Chulalongkorn University to create and develop its own quality management system in order to ensure the quality in every unit and to improve the university toward its goals to become ‘World-Class National University’. The current system namely ‘CU Quality Model’ has been developed based on the concepts of quality built-in, quality on diversity, quality for quality, quality prioritization, and quality continuous improvement. Its subsystems which are CU-CQA, CU-RQA, CU-SaQA and CU-SsQA are the standards for the quality assurances of 4 main missions of the university which are teaching and learning, research, academic services and supporting services, respectively. It also covers the quality assurances of the supporting processes such as budgeting, human resource and infrastructure management. The implementation of this model is one of the factors resulting in the achievement of nationally awards by several government sectors for Outstanding Quality Systems. Therefore, Chulalongkorn University would like to share and exchange this best practice for further improvement of the model
