This study is to analyze the damage fastener bolts of gears circuit house of a train chain. This study focuses on determining the types and the factors that may cause the damage. There are several tests done in this research which includes the tests on chemical composition, macroscopic, metallugircal, and mechanical properties such as hardness and tensile tests. The results show that such bolts had undergone fatigue fracture in low nominal voltage conditions.
