To celebrate The Golden Anniversary of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPN-VJ) on January 7, 2013, a joint program has been prepared between UPN-VJ with 7 universities overseas, where the signing of the Memorandum was planned to be done by all parties on January 4, 2013. This piece of writing is a "Policy Paper" which suggests rationalisation of cooperation among the three universities above which leads to a "Sister University". The interest of the cooperation among the three universities is to create a "soft media" in fostering good relationships between the two countrie-Indonesia and Malaysia-in the future, so it can be an interface agent between the two countries who always experience some fluctuations (through the academic dimension) which ultimately is detrimental to both. What considerations and benefits of being a Sister University and why it is with Malaysia, are outlined below. However, this paper still requires an assessment from relevant parties, to formulate the concept of "Sister University" comprehensively and realistically.
